Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for post-op recovery.

Understand the chamber, pressure, oxygen, preparation, safety questions, and the limits of complementary treatment after plastic surgery.

The core definition

Pressure and oxygen, delivered by protocol.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy takes place in a chamber pressurized above normal atmospheric pressure. Increased pressure changes how gases behave and can increase the amount of oxygen dissolved in plasma.

That mechanism does not make every recovery goal an automatic medical indication. The practical value of a session depends on patient selection, the chamber type, pressure in atmospheres absolute, oxygen delivery, session duration, frequency, monitoring, and coordination with qualified clinicians.

Ask Bella Oxygen to explain those elements in plain language before you commit to a plan. A patient should know what will happen, how they can communicate, how pressure is adjusted, and what would cause a session to stop.

Preparing for care? Review what to expect during a first session and the safety guide, then confirm your individual questions with the clinic.

Inside the treatment experience.

These real Bella Oxygen images show the chamber interior and control system. They are not generic representations.

Pressure controls

Before, during, and after a session.

Before

Suitability and preparation

Share relevant conditions, medications, surgery timing, congestion, ear problems, and your surgeon's instructions. Follow the clinic's clothing and prohibited-item list.

During

Pressure and communication

Pressure changes should be gradual. Tell staff if ear or sinus pressure becomes painful, or if you feel anxious, short of breath, or unwell.

After

Review and coordination

Note any symptoms, continue your prescribed post-op plan, and report unexpected wound, breathing, pain, or swelling changes to the appropriate clinician.

Medical safety: Untreated pneumothorax is a major contraindication. Lung disease, ear or sinus problems, pregnancy, fever, some medications, and other circumstances may require professional review. This is general education, not a personal clearance.

Ask for the protocol, not a promise.

Request the chamber model, operating pressure, oxygen delivery method, session length, supervision, emergency procedures, and total price directly from the clinic.

Ask Bella Oxygen
Next step

Bring your questions to Bella Oxygen.

Ask about availability, preparation, the chamber protocol, and coordination with your surgeon. An appointment is confirmed only after the clinic responds.
